McNally, 48, of route two Fenwick, died shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday at Ionia County Memorial hospital where he had been a patient since Saturday. Mr. McNally served as a paratrooper in World War II and for the past 18 ½ years had been employed by Mitchell Bentley and DowSmith corporations. He was born in Vicksburg, January 20, 1917, son of Clarence and Olive Compton McNally, and was married to Betty Wiles, October 6, 1946 in Ionia. Mr. McNally was a member of Shiloh Community church and BPOE 548. Survivors include his wife, Betty; two sons, Michael, 18, and Timothy, 11; three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Stafford of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Grace Kott and Mrs. Marie Butcher of Vicksburg. Funeral service will be at 1:30 Saturday afternoon at Boynton funeral home. The Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community church, will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Garden Shrines. Contributions to the Shiloh church building fund in his memory will be accepted.
