Ionia Daily Standard, 21 Mar 1905

Mary Hoyt McNames of Muir, aged 84, is dead.  She was born in New Brunswick, 
Canada, and moved to Michigan in 1880.  She was the mother of 6 children, one of 
whom, Henry, enlisted in the Civil war and died in Danville prison.  She had been 
growing blind for the past nine years.
