Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 Apr 1986

Rose E. McNaughton, 95, of Orleans, formerly of Lansing, died Thursday at 
United Memorial Hospital in Greenville.  She was born March 30, 1891 in Otisco 
Township, Ionia county, the daughter of Willis and Hannah Wood.  She was a 
member of the Cedar Way Free Methodist Church of Lansing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, in October 1971 and by a 
daughter, Janet Green.  Survivors include two sons, Lewis Jr. of Orleans and 
Willis of St. Louis; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; five nephews 
and one niece.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Marshall Funeral Home in 
Greenville, with the Rev. Wilfred Wood officiating.  Burial will be Monday at 
Chapel Hill in Lansing.  Memorials may be left to the Cedar Way Free Methodist 
Church.
