Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. Dec. 4, 1952

FORMER RESIDENT DIED TUESDAY
Mrs. Fernie (Carpenter) McNaughton of Nashville passed away suddenly on November 25.

She was a former resident of Lake Odessa. The funeral services were held in the Otto

Funeral Home in Nashville, November 28, Burial was at the Riverside Cemetery in
Hasting's. Mrs. McNaughton is survived by her daughter, Miss Audrey Carpenter, who is a
librarian in the public school in Glencoe, Illinois.

Mrs McNaughton was active in the   Methodist Church and Women's Clubs. She always 
helped in any project which benefited the community in which she lived. She will be
missed by a host of friends.
