Sentinel-Std. - Monday, July 28, 1986

BELDING Myron J. McNaughton, 84, of 1113 Brentwood, Belding, died Sunday 
morning at Belding Christian Nursing Home.

He was born in Gratton Township on September 6, 1901, the son of William and 
Mary (Scott) McNaughton. He retired in 1965 from the Grand Rapids City 
Transit Authority as a bus driver.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louva, in 1936; and one 
daughter, Phyllis Warden, on July 16, 1986.
 
He married Millie Swafford on May 14, 1960, in Grand Rapids.

Survivors include his wife, Millie; two daughters, Ms. Darwin (Barbara) 
Bradford ad Mrs. Donald (Marilyn) Cory, both of Belding; one stepdaughter, 
Mrs. Norman (Sally) McGeorge of Boyne City; five grandchildren and three 
great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Courser and Johnson 
Funeral Home in Belding with the Rev. James Crawford of the First Baptist 
Church of Belding officiating.

Burial will follow in Ashley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. 
Monday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-8 p.m. Monday.
