Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Jan 1966

Bert McNeilly, 58, former resident of Ionia and Lowell, died Saturday morning at
Elkton.  Mr. McNeilly was manager of Franks variety store in Lowell before moving to
Elkton where he has owned and operated his own business.  He was a member of Clark
Ellis Post American Legion and was a past president of Elkton Rotary club.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; a brother, Glenn McNeilly of Sheridan; two sisters,
Mrs. Doris Briggs of Carson City and Mrs. Joyce Gross of Lowell; several nieces and
nephews.

The family will be at Roth funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 2 until 4 and from 7
until 9 in the evening to receive friends.  Funeral service will be Wednesday at
1:30 p.m. at Roth funeral home with the Rev. Charles Davis of Lowell Congregational
church officiating and interment will be at Oakwood cemetery.
