Ionia Sentinel Standard, 31 Oct 1947

A Spanish war veteran, Albert J. McPhee of Belding died at the age of 77 years
at the Soldiers home in Grand Rapids, where he was taken in January, 1947.  Mr.
McPhee was born August 10, 1870, in Everett.  His parents were Joseph and
Isabelle McPhee.  He had been a Belding resident for 47 years.

Surviving him are his widow, Frances Cameron McPhee, whom he married in 1905;
one son, Raymond, of Greenville, and three grandchildren.

A military funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the
Fitzjohn funeral home.  Interment will be in the family lot in Otisco cemetery.
