McPherson, 47, will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Leddick funeral home. Rev. Edward Orlowski of the SS Peter and Paul church, will officiate and interment will be at the Woodard Lake cemetery. Mr. McPherson, who had lived at 4280 North State road, died unexpectedly of a fatal heart attack Tuesday evening at his home. Born in Ionia July 18, 1928, he was the son of Donald and Irene Haysmer McPherson. He attended the Ionia schools and graduated from Ionia high school with the class of 1946. He was engaged in farming most of his life. In 1952 he was married to Marrion Hoppes and she died in January of 1969. He was then married to Maxine Perrien in 1970 and she died in February 27, 1974. Among his survivors are two sons, Patrick and Thomas at home; three daughters, Debora, attending Ferris State college at Big Rapids, Julie and Lisa at home, two stepsons, Douglas Perrien of Lansing, and Phillip Perrien of Ionia; three stepdaughters, Deborah Perrien, Brenda Perrien and Mrs. Janalee Lundstrom, all of Ionia. Also surviving are a brother, M. J. McPherson of Brighton, four sisters, Mrs. Ilene Usler of Royal Oak, Mrs. Wilma Trebian of Orleans, Mrs. Lela Fancett and Ms. Thelma Strickling of Ionia. Family members will be at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Michigan Heart fund.
