Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, April 24, 1962

Word was received in Ionia of the sudden death Sunday of Donald D. McPherson, 
36, of Paris, Tenn.

He was born in Ionia and following his graduation from Ionia high school in 
1941 he was employed in Greenville. He enlisted in the United States Navy, May 
20, 1943 and during World War II he served on a destroyer in the South Pacific.

For the past several years he has been an optometrist at Paris, Tenn.

His mother, Mrs. Robert McPherson and sister, Mrs. DeVilo Bishop, left Monday 
and his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce McPherson left Tuesday for 
Tennessee. Funeral services will be there Wednesday.
