He was born Aug. 18, 1926, the son of Clarence and Bessie Knight McQueen. He married Anna Clifford Sept. 1, 1947, in Belding. He retired from Federal-Mogul after 38 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being a handyman, but most of all, he loved his grandchildren. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Anna McQueen of Carson City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Phillip Harris of Greenville, Shirley and Blake Hollenbeck of Sidney; three sons and daughters-in-law, Skip and Pamela McQueen of Belding, Dann and Georgia McQueen of Sparta, Tom and Shannon McQueen of Belding; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, six brothers and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bessie McQueen; one daughter, Linda McQueen; one great-grandson, Leo McQueen; one sister and one brother. Memorial services were July 6 at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City, with the Rev. Arron Hadley officiating. Interment was in Otisco Cemetery, Belding.
