Bernard was born in Winn, the son of Clarence and Bessie Knights McQueen on August 23, 1933. During his working years he worked as a carpenter and had served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Don and Arnie and his sister June. Bernard is survived by his son, Ron McQueen of Grand Rapids; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Harold McQueen of Howard City, Ken and Gladys McQueen of Crystal, Wilma Misner of Belidng, Treva and Hank Shindorf of Ionia, Vern and Carol McQueen of Pewamo, Virginia Arnold of Belding, Nelson and Margene McQueen of Belding, Clare Jr. and Bonnie McQueen of Belding, and Jim McQueen of Carson City. In keeping with his wishes no visitation or services will take place. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Grand Rapids. Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of one’s choice. Services were entrusted to Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
