Ionia Daily Standard, 18 May 1892

The funeral of Mrs. Catherine McQuillan will take place from the Catholic 
church at 9:30 tomorrow morning.  She leaves six sons and two daughters.  When 
the doctor called Saturday morning, she told him that she should die at 12 
o’clock of that day.  He made light of it, and said he would call in the 
evening, when she remarked that he need not, she would die at noon.  There 
seemed to be no immediate danger of dissolution as the time approached, but she 
died at the hour foretold.

Geo. McQuillan, of Clearwater, Kan., is expected to arrive this evening, to 
attend the funeral of his mother, Catherine McQuillan.
