McQUILLAN, CATHERINE (FITZPATRICK)(MRS. BERNARD):
   THE IONIA SENTINEL, (MI), Thursday, May 19, 1892, page 5:  "Mrs. Catherine
McQuillan, wife of Barney McQuillan, died at her home in Ionia township
Saturday, aged 79 years.  Her funeral was attended at the church of SS. Peter
and Paul at 9:30 Tuesday morning.  Beside her aged husband, Mrs. McQuillan
leaves two daughters, Mrs. James Humphrey of this city and Mrs. Chas. Somers,
and six sons---James, who is in California; Bernard, in Dakota; George, in
Kansas; Daniel, in Chicago; Thomas, in Grand Rapids and Joseph, who lives in
Orange."
