McQuillan, 85, of Ionia died Thursday morning at the home of a daughter after a short illness. Born in Ionia April 25, 1900, she was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Terry Jack. She attended Ionia High School and was married to Leon McQuillan in 1919. They lived all their married life in Ionia. He preceded her in death in 1974. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church and a member of Beatrice Rebekah Lodge of which she was a past Noble Grand. An Avid button collector, she was sometimes called "The Button Lady". She owned and operated an antique shop before moving into Pine Vista, as one of its original residents, 11 years ago. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs.Keith (Dortha) Van Houten of Ionia; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, nieces nephew and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Montgomery-Leddick Funeral Home, with the Rev. F.Michael Valentine of First Christian Church officiating. Burial in Balcom Cemetery.
