Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Apr 1964

Funeral services for Howard J. McQuire, 70, of 7286 Lincoln Lake Road, Belding,
will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s church, Parnell.  Mr. McQuire died
Saturday morning at his home after a two year illness.  A native of Lake City,
he had lived in Belding since 1935, and was a veteran of World War I serving 20
months overseas.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen, two daughters including Mrs. Edward Punches
of Belding, three sons including James W. and Howard J. of Belding route three
and a sister and 12 grandchildren.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Parnell Cemetery.]
