With the exception of the past year he was a lifelong resident of Odessa township. His parents were Charles and Eliza McRoberts, early settlers. Mr. McRoberts was a milk hauler for the Lake Odessa Condensary from the time the business started until it closed. He then hauled milk for the Libby McNeil, Libby Milk Co. at Sheridan for a number of years and later did local and long distance hauling. The last seven years when able he was employed by the Lake Odessa Canning CO. Because of ill health he and his wife lived with their son and sold their home on N.Fourth Ave., to Mr and Mrs James Smalley of Woodland. He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Surviving are the wife Alma and the son and other relatives. Funeral services were held Monday night at 8 p.m. at the Systema Funeral Home at Muskegon and at the local Calvary U.B. Church Tuesday at 2 with burial in Lakeside cemetery. Rev. M.H.Dawson officiated assisted by Rev. Delores Lobdell.
