Lake Odessa Wave  Friday April 7, 1905

ERNEST McTAGGART

The WAVE last week unintentionally omitted the notice the death of Ernest 
McTaggart who died at the home of his Mother Mrs. Sid__ Hummel, on March 25th, 
of Consumption.

The deceased was born in Clarksville, October 7, 1879 and lived in the vicinity 
of Lake Odessa nearly all his life. He was an industrious, sober young man and 
won many friends by his quiet gentleman ways. During his long illness he was a 
patient suffer and when the summons came he was ready and willing to go, having 
died in the Christian faith.

He leaves besides his mother, who has stood beside the deathbed of three member 
of her family inside the past three years, a sister, Mrs.Loren Stine and two 
brothers, Archie and Clayton.

The funeral was held at the Congregation church Tuesday, Rev. Skentlebury 
officiating. From the church the funeral cortege wended its way to the Lakeside 
Cemetery where the last sad rites were preformed and the remain were laid to 
rest beside the father and brother.
