Local Brevities.  Mrs. D.C. McVean of Stanton, formerly of the Bricker House,
died in Stanton this morning.

This and That.  Mrs. Louisa J. McVean, wife of David C. McVean, died suddenly at
her home in this city at 2 o’clock Thursday morning of heart trouble.  Deceased
had been a sufferer for many months, but her departure came unexpectedly and was
a sad shock to her family.  Mrs. McVean was born in Ohio and was in her 55th
year.  She came to Stanton with her family about one year ago from Belding and
purchased the A. Gilbert place on north Camburn street.  She leaves a husband,
one daughter and a brother to mourn her loss.  The funeral was held Friday
afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence, Rev. W.C. Burns conducting the
services. – Stanton Herald.
