Services for Dennis O. McVeigh, 85, who died at his South Ionia home Saturday 
evening, were held from the Myers funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 
o’clock.  The Rev. Wayne Davis conducted the services, with interment in the 
Balcom cemetery.  His bearers were L. Dean McVeigh, Keith McVeigh, Eric Gee, 
P.R. Beach, Max Adgate and Clell Bissell.

Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson of Muskegon, 
Mrs. Glenn Munsell, Barbara, Deana and John of Alma, Leon McVeigh and L.D. 
McVeigh of Lansing, Keith McVeigh of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. P.R. Beach and 
Mrs. Fred Phelps of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Gee, Mr. and Mrs. Louis 
Fox, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bissell and Clell Bissell of Pewamo, Mrs. Georgia Adgate 
of Saranac, Mrs. Lula Vance of Orleans, Mrs. Barbara Brake and Mrs. Ida 
Livingston of Lake Odessa.
