He died at his home located at 310 Clay street, Greenville. Born in Ionia November 24, 1922, Mr. McVeigh had been employed at Federal Mogul of Greenville and later in the Firestone store there. At the time of his death he was half owner of the Uptown Cleaners, his partner being George Haberstumpf, formerly of Ionia. On June 27, 1842, he was married to Virgilene Peterson of Greenville who survives. Surviving besides his wife are his parents Mr. and Mrs. Don McVeigh of Greenville. Funeral services are to be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Hoffman funeral home at Greenville. The Rev. William Harrington, pastor of the First Baptist church, will conduct the service. Burial will be at the Montcalm cemetery near Greenville. Mr. McVeigh was an active member of the Greenville Lions club. Members of that club will attend the service in a group and will act as pall bearers.
