McVeigh, 76, of rural Fowler, died Oct 22 at her home. Born May 9, 1913 in Middleton, she was the daughter of Julius and Lera (Stevens) Ceasar. She was a lifelong resident of the Fowler-Hubbardston area. She was a retired cook with the Hubbardston school system. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Ridriguez of Carson City, Valerie Rodriguez of Muskegon, Jeanne Ayers of Alma, Linda Owen of Grand Rapids, Joanne Dedyne of Lansing and Marilyn Barnett of Thousand Oaks, Calif,; two sons, James McVeigh of Hubbardston and Robert McVeigh of Dimondale; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Allen of Hubbardston and Elaine Bush of Owosso; and two brothers, Ford Ceasar of Lansing and Edward Ceasar Summerfield, Fla. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth McVeigh and a granddaughter. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11 am from the Carson City United Methodist Church, the Rev. Ray Grienke officiating. Burial will be in East Plains Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carson City United Methodist Church.
