Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Jan 1933

Edwin Alonzo (Lon) Meade, 92, died at the Ionia county infirmary Wednesday 
morning.  Funeral services will be conducted at the Boynton funeral chapel at 1 
o’clock Thursday afternoon.  The body will be sent to Madison, O., for burial.  
He was a native of Ohio, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Mead, but had lived the 
greater part of his life in Ionia, where he worked as an interior decorator and 
painter.  He leaves one daughter in California.
