Edward Mead Passed Away Tuesday – Remains Brought Home. A telegram to Fred McCue, Tuesday, conveyed the sad intelligence that his brother-in-law, Edward Meade died that morning at 4:45 o’clock. Mr. Meade went to Memphis, Tenn., a year ago last March, where he had secured a good position in a casket factory in which his brother-in-law, Frank Weifels also worked. Recently he was taken with malaria fever which later developed into typhoid. The deceased was 45 years old and had been a resident here for more than 20 years; was an excellent citizen; a devoted father and one of the kindest of neighbors. He had a very large circle of friends and his loss will be keenly felt. He leaves, besides his wife, four children, Fred, Harry, Mabel and Eddie. His remains arrived Wednesday and the funeral was held from the Catholic church.
