Ionia Daily Standard, 17 Dec 1908

Joseph Meisling, 53 years old, died at the home, 630 Jones street, at 7 last
evening.  He formerly worked in the coach department of the car shops; but has been
unable to work for a year past.  Cause of death was heart disease.  He leaves a wife
and eleven children.  Funeral at the home at 2 p.m., Saturday.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in
Highland Park Cemetery.]
