Larry Sinclair Melcher was born to Raymond Fredrick Melcher and Clara Adelaid (Lewis) Melcher on June 21, 1938 in Motley, MN. Larry met his beautiful wife, Nancy Louise (Hand) Melcher on a blind date, because his and her friends knew they would be perfect for each other.They married on June 23, 1962 and went on to have 4 children, Larry Lee (Barbara), James (Charen), Richard (Kelli) and Mary Jane and resided in Saranac, Michigan. In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband and father,Larry also loved traveling (especially to Historical sites), playing the piano, painting, and riding the golf cart around property. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. Larry joins his mother, father, and siblings Sharon (Ruby) Martha (Bill) and sister-in-law, Diane, along with many friends and extended family in Heaven. He is survived by his wife,Nancy, His children and daughter-in-laws; Larry Lee,Barbara, James, Charen, Richard, Kelli, and Mary Jane. Grandchildren; Shianne (Josh), Jonathan, Melanie (Jesse),Kelsea, Katelyn, Jared, and Lillee. Great-Grandchildren; McKenzie, Savanah, Alex, henry, Ellery, Sawyer and Enslee. Visitation will be held from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Galilee Baptist Church, 291 Orchard Street, Saranac. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 5, 2022, at the church with a luncheon to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saranac Village Fire Department or to the Galilee Baptist Church Missions.
