Malanda “Mandy” Mello, age 30 of Middleville, passed away unexpectedly on 
Monday, October 13, 2014.  Mandy was born May 11, 1984 in Grand Rapids, 
Michigan and she attended both Thornapple Kellogg Schools and Ionia Public 
Schools. 

Mandy is survived by her husband, Donald Manuel Mello; children, Mia Michelle 
Reed, Kaleb David Mello and Madison Ann Mello; parents, Nancy (Andy) Dick and 
James (Leslie) Reed; sisters, Melinda (Kris) Thompson and Kristy Reed; 
brothers, Cory Mulder, Brandon Mulder, and Zachary Dick; grandparents, Barbara 
and Jerry Elkins, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Mandy was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Mary (Rosie) 
Chambers. 

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 
the Middleville United Methodist Church, 111 Church St, Middleville.  In lieu 
of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to 
Mandy’s family to assist with funeral expenses.
