TERRANCE PATRICK MELVIN   1947 - 2017
   Terry Melvin, age 70 of Lansing, MI, passed away Feb. 25, 2017 at Sparrow
Hospital in Lansing, MI, in the CCU.  Terry was born Jan. 25, 1947 in St. Johns, MI 
the son of Edward and Dorothy (Weber) Melvin.
   Terry is survived by his children: son, Jason (Graff) Melvin; daughter, Terri
Lynn Melvin; brothers, Charles Melvin of South Carolina, Tim Melvin of Lake Orion; 
sister, Catherine (Gregory) Kemp of Ionia; nieces, Kelly Kemp, Brenda Badder, Becky 
Badder, Bethany Badder; nephews, Bryan Badder, James Kemp and Chuck Melvin Jr.
   Terry was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ethel Badder; and brother,
Jeffery Melvin.  A special thanks to all his friends, especially Jamaal Bryant and 
Malcom Hayes.
   A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2 at SS
Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Tom Brown celebrant.  Interment Most Holy 
Trinity Cemetery.  A visitation will be Wednesday 4-7 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia.  Those wishing may make memorial contributions to American Diabetes, American
