MELVIN
In Loving memory of Charles Edward Melvin Sr. who passed away on March 3, 
2020 due to complications from pneumonia.

Charles was born on August 29, 1942 to Dorothy (Weber) and Edward Estel 
Melvin.

Charles was in the Navy for 23 1/2 years. He moved on the base for a while 
then delivered various vehicles to various locations for a car auction, which 
he loved doing. He lived in the south for many years because he didn't like 
the cold in Michigan.

Charles is survived by his children, Michelle Donnelly, and Charles Melvin 
Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher Robert Donnelly, Andrew Charles Melvin; 
great-grandchild, Athena Donnelly, all are from the Charleston, S.C. area. 
Also surviving Charle are sister Catherine (Gregory L.) Kemp of Ionia; 
brother Tim Melvin of Lake Orion and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ethel Mae Badder; and 
brothers, Terry Melvin and Jeffery Melvin.
