Ionia County News, 1 Mar 1923

Funeral obsequies for Mrs. Frederica Melzow, aged 93, who passed away last
Saturday evening at the home of her son, Louis, 423 Hill street, was held
Tuesday from the German Lutheran church.  Mrs. Melzow was born in Germany and
came to Ionia nearly a half century ago.  At the time of her death she was one
of the oldest residents of the city.  Burial was made in Highland Park cemetery.
