Ionia Sentinel Standard, 1 Nov 1969

Charles Mendenhall, 80, of Woodland died at Pennock hospital in Hastings early
Saturday.  He was born January 15, 1889 in Liberty, Neb., son of Jacob and Laura
Freeman Mendenhall and came to Michigan in May of 1942.  He was employed by the
Grand Ledge Tire company and moved to Woodland in 1949.

There are no immediate survivors.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens funeral chapel, Lake
Odessa.  Interment will be at Woodland Memorial Park.
