MARY ETTA MERCER of East Lansing and Sebring, FL.
Died March 9, 2016- age 95
Born January 15,1921 in Portland daughter of Anthony and Katherine Willems.
Graduated from Portland High School & attended Aquinas college in Grand Rapids.
Resident of Lansing area for 65 years.
Member of the St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church & active in the Woman's Altar 
Society, also 30 year member of Mary Magdalene League of St.Lawrence Hospital.
Preceded in death by her brother, sister, and parents.
Survived by husband Frances R. Mercer of 63 years 3 sons, a daughter, 8 
grandchildren, 1 brother, 1 sister, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Sunday March 13, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman 
Funeral Homes, East Lansing, MI., with Rosary being prayed at 7:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 Monday March 14 at St.Thomas Aquinas 
Catholic Church, East Lansing, MI.with Father Dan Westermann officiating.
