Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Merritt, 76, were held at the First Methodist 
church at 3:00 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. F.G. Dunbar of Grand Rapids 
officiating following a prayer service conducted by the Re . M.E. Taber, pastor 
of the LeValley church, at the home o her daughter, Mrs. Charles Houghton, 
where she died Thursday morning. Interment was in Balcom cemetery.

Mrs. Dale Rosecrance was the organist.

Her bearers were George Moon, Wilbur Moon, Fred Brickley and Leo Coulson. 

Vera Richey of Muskegon, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Merritt and family of  Saranac, 
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Graves and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Merritt of Ann Arbor, Mr. 
and Mrs. Lynn Doolittle of Portland, and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Jones of Plainwell.
