The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, February 23, 2008

Robert Mestemaker, aged 92, of Ionia, passed away February 21, 2008. He was 
born September 22, 1915, in Lyons, Michigan, the son of Henry C. and Margaret 
(Keirse) Mestemaker.

He was a life member of Ionia Lions Club. He married Marguerite Harding in 
Ionia February 9, 1943. She preceded him in death in 2005.

Robert is survived by his son Craig and Brenda Mestemaker of Lansing; brothers 
William and Margaret Mestemaker of Florida, Donald and Barbara Mestemaker of 
Wacousta; grandchildren Alana and Eric Reome and Aaron Mestemaker and great 
grandchildren Devin and Callista Reome.  He is preceded in death by his loving 
wife , 1 brother and 1 sister.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M Tuesday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Bob Nixon officiating. Interment at Tuttle Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends and relatives 4:00 P.M.-7:00P.M., Monday at the funeral home. 
In lieu of flowers you may make contributions to Ionia Lions Club.
