Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Mar 1981

Phillip “Mitch” Mitchell Mestemaker, 24, of Grand Blanc, died early Saturday
morning from injuries caused in a car accident.  

Surviving are his fiancée, Kathy Dowdy of Grand Blanc; mother, Mrs. Hoyt
(Marilyn) Christensen of Ionia; father, Donald P. Mestemaker of Wacousta, Mich.;
two sisters, Deborah of Lansing and Robin of Ionia; a grandmother, Margaret
Mestemaker of Ionia; two step-brothers, Eric of Florida and Jack of Ionia; two
step-sisters, Mrs. Donald (Trayce) Garland of Ionia and Lisa of Muir; and
several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Estes-Leadly Funeral Home in
Lansing.  Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens at noon
that day.
