South Boston Farmer, Harvey Metternick Dies

Harvey E. Metternick of 10483 Grand River Ave., Lowell, passed away Saturday
morning at his residence at the age of 56.  A farmer in the South Boston area
for many years, his activities for the last several years had been limited due
to a heart condition.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Roth-Gerst Chapel with the
Rev. Frank Everett officiating.  Burial was made in South Boston Cemetery.

Besides his wife, Ruth, he leaves three sons, Ronald of Saranac, Larry of Grand
Rapids and Jerry at home, and a daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Janet) Place of Novi; and
ten grandchildren.

He also leaves six brothers and sisters, George of Clarksville, Joseph of Alto,
Mrs. Zahn Tuckey of Charlotte, Mrs. Marie Merriman of Alto, Mrs. Howard Miller
of Ada, Mrs. Louise Wingier of Alto.
