Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 7 Oct 1975

Word of the death of Mrs. Marguerite Bowker Metzger Sunday in California was 
received in Grand Rapids Monday by Mrs. Orson E. Coe, a close friend.  Mrs. 
Metzger was the widow of Ned A. Bowker who also was an Ionian.  Mrs. Metzger 
died of a massive cerebral hemorrhage at West Anaheim, California, community 
hospital.  Mr. Bowker died of a heart ailment in 1966.

Mrs. Metzger married Eugene Metzger in 1972 and was a native of the Portland-
Sebewa area but lived in Ionia for many years.  Mrs. Metzger is survived by 
three sons and two daughters, all living in the Los Angeles area.  Rosary is to 
be recited Tuesday evening with funeral services Wednesday with interment at 
Lakeside (California) cemetery.
