Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Feb. 16, 1971

Word was received in Ionia of the death of Mrs. Olla Marshall Metzger, wife of 
the late Carl Metzger of San Jose, Calif., February 11 at Santa Rosa, Calif.

She was the daughter of John Marshall of Marshall-Wright Lumber Co of Ionia. A 
graduate of Ionia High School, she also attended Ypsilanti State normal.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Norman Brown of Santa Rosa; two sons, Marshall 
of Richland, Mo. and Dr. Duane Metzger of Laguna Beach, Calif., ten 
grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was a sister-in-law of Mrs. Robert Weisgerber and Bruce Metzger of Ionia 
and Mrs. Elmer Carlson of Arlington, S.D.
