The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, February 11, 1958

Sheldon C. Meyers, 50, of Center street, Saranac, was found dead at 7 a.m. 
Tuesday by his wife.  He was born in Saranac June 23, 1907.  He had operated a 
tavern on Bridge street for several years.

Surviving besides his wife, Freda, are three daughters, Mrs. Ione Pant of 
Lansing, Mrs. Lois Heavens of Saranac and Mrs. Lorna Brown of Ada; a son, 
Robert, at home; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Meyers of Saranac; two 
sisters, Mrs. Harvey Whitney of Belmont and Mrs. L. B. Raymor of Lowell, and 
six grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon at the Morris funeral 
home in Saranac, with the Rev. Miss Vena Evans officiating.  Interment will be 
in Saranac cemetery.
