Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. March 19, 2013

Randy Meyers, 59, of Ionia passed away March 17, 2013 in Lowell. He was born 
Oct. 21, 1953 in Ionia the son of Lewis and Edna (Priest) Meyers.

Randy loved music. He played guitar in his own band, Lorjens Rule. He sang and 
wrote songs that were produced on the band’s CD. This was done while he lived 
in Oklahoma for over years. He had many friends there that he called family. He 
also loved to hunt and fish.

Randy is survived by his children, Tonya (Mark) Prelesnik of Crystal, Nicole 
Meyers of New York and Cory Meyers and wife of Oklahoma; special, step 
children, Lynn, Jenifer and Eddie Giambelluca; sisters, Shirley (James) Lytle 
of Lyons, Lillian (Tom) Tefft of Ionia, Sally Lauer of Sheridan and Laura (Al) 
Martin of Lyons and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 4-7 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia. Visitation only.

Memorial contributions may be made in Randy’s name to American Cancer Society.
