Ionia Co. Shopper's Guide
          MEYERS
   Robert L Meyers of Lyons, age 68 passes away on Sunday, May 29, 206. He was born
one March 26, 1948 the son of Lewis and Helen (Gensterblum) Meyers. Bob is retired 
from General Motors after 30 years of service, enjoyed hunting, fishing and 
gardening.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war.  His greatest love 
was his family especially the grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his 
daughter. Roberta "Bobbi" Johnston in 1997; son Ryan Meyers in 2004; and his parents. 
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Linda; children Scott (Tisa) Meyers, Rebecca 
(Matthew) Christians, Adam (Trisha) Meyers; son-in-law, Eric (Stacey) Johnston; 
daughter-in-law, Janice (Roger) Rhyndress; grandchildren Zachary and Karli Meyers, 
Jessica Johnston, Austin and Hunter Meyers, Maddalyn and Isabella Meyers; great
grand children Bentley Aubrey and Logan Thacker; siblings Geraldine "Gerry" 
VanDerWoude, Joseph (Sandy) Meyers, Elaine Ewing, Michael (Angie) Meyers, Sue Luna 
and Theresa (Brad) Babinski; "Fred" the cat; many nieces and nephews; loving 
neighbors Randy and Michelle Hodge.  The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated
at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., 
Portland with Rev. Larry King officiating.  The family will receive friend 5-8 p.m., 
Wednesday at the funeral home  On line condolences may be made at
