NORMAN LYLE MEYERS. 89
Norman Lyle Meyers, 89, of Ionia, passed away September 16, 2019, in Lansing, 
He was born May 6, 1930 in Carson City the son of Herman and Derua Meyers. 
Norman married Donna Jean Horrigan June 11, 1949. She preceded him in death 
July 28, 2011.

He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Norman loved to golf in 
his younger years. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family and 
friends. After retirement, he and Donna traveled to Arizona for 19 years and 
he was able to enjoy retirement for 42 years.

Norman is survived by his son Lee (Kim) Meyers of Belmont; 10 grandchildren 
and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, son, Robert J. Meyers and a brother 
Robert Meyers.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, at Lake 
Funeral Home in ionia with Zennon Cardenas officiating, Visitation will be 
Wednesday noon until time of service at the funeral home. Contributions may 
be made in Norman's name to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan,. Online
