OBITUARY OF WILLIAM MEYERS
Wm. S. Meyers, son of Samuel and Julia Meyers was born Nov. 25, 1858, in 
Woodland, Barry county, Michigan, and passed away at the Bronson hospital at 
Kalamazoo, Mich., Feb. 25, 1922, at the age of 63 years and three months.

At the age of 18 years he joined the United Brethren church of Woodland and 
has been an active and true Christian til death called him home. In Nov. 
1890, he was united in marriage to Mary S. Pickens of Ohio. To this union 
were born six children, Lancy F., Willie A., A.Valentine, Chester E. Elfa I, 
and Wilma E., of whom all are at home. Willie having lost his wife last 
November, leaving two babies, Stanley and Arden, who are also there.

He was a kind and loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by all 
who knew him. He also leaves to mourn three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. 
Lydia Jones of Grandville, Mich., Mrs Ellen Morrow, Mrs Permelia Hamp of Lake 
Odessa, Freeman Myers of Kissimmee, Fla., Ed Meyers of South Dakota besides a 
host of friends.

The funeral was largely attended which was held at Sebewa Center Tuesday 
afternoon. He was laid to rest at Sebewa cemetery. Rev. Stanley Thayer of 
Sunfield officiated. Mrs.Beulah Cassel Mrs carrie cNeil and Mrs. Fred Gunn 
furnished the music.
