He was a retired machinist and had been employed by the E.W. Bliss Co. for 44 years, retiring in 1951. He was the son of the late Frank and Ella Meyers of Lake Odessa and had been a resident of Hastings for 45 years. Mr. Meyers was a member of the IOOF lodge, No. 58 the Past Noble Grand and Hiawatha Rebekah lodge no. 53. Surviving are his wife Minnie, two sons Elsworth and Loren, a daughter Mrs. Lyle Kern all of Hastings, two sisters Mrs. Marie Barry of Portland and Mrs. William Gavit of Lake Odessa, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Burial in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.
