Lake Odessa Wave - July 8, 1965
          JESSE B. MEYERS PASSES AWAY
   Jesse B. Meyers passed away Monday, July 5th.  He had been a resident of Clark
Memorial Home in Grand 
Rapids since 1961.
   Mr. Meyers was born Dec. 2, 1870 on the family farm in Barry County.  He was the
son of Ziba and Elizabeth 
Meyers.
   On May 4, 1898 he was married to Lucinda Horn.  They retired from their farm and
moved to Lake Odessa in 
1916.
   He was an active member of Central Methodist Church and took part in civic
affairs.  He was one of the 
charter members of the Lake Odessa Lions Club.
   He is survived by his wife Lucinda and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Clark Memorial Home, Wednesday at
1:30 p.m. Rev. Brokaw 
officiated at the committal services which were held at the Lakeside cemetery.
