Meyers, 39, passed away on Thursday evening of last week at his home in Woodland after an illness of three and a half years. He was born May 10, 1904 in Woodland township, the son of Ferd and Edith Meyers. March 4, 1933, he was married to Miss Gaylia Klahn of Odessa, who survives him. Practically all of his life was spent n Woodland and Lake Odessa communities. He is also survived by four children, Marjorie Ann, Mary Elnora, Marshall and Marlin; his parents; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Baker in Woodland, Mrs. Stella Webster and Mrs. Dorothy Manning in Lake Odessa and Mrs. Florence Mead at Hastings; two brothers, Arthur at Alto, and Cpl. Homer Meyers at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. Funeral services were held from the late home on Monday afternoon with the Rev. C. A McGuire officiating, with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
