                    MEYERS

Nola Eileen (Scott) Meyers, age 100, of Saranac, MI passed away peacefully on 
March 15, 2024. She was born March 23, 1923 the daughter of Ed and Bertha 
(Lewis) Scott.

Nola was a life long resident of Saranac, MI. She was diagnosed at 5 years old 
with Osteomyelitis, a bone infection. Where a portion of her left arm was 
removed. She attended Saranac Community school where she was President of her 
graduating Class of 1941. Nola married Arden Meyers on February 14, 1942. 
Together they had 5 children. Over the course of her life she worked in Ionia at 
AC Spark Plug during World War II with her childhood best friend, Carol Brooks. 
Later, retiring from Revco Pharmacy. She attended Saranac Community Church and 
was a member of the Saranac Garden Club, the"Dirt Diggers".Nola loved to spend 
time with her family.She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and traveling with 
her close friends.

Nola's legacy will continue on through her children, Dennis (Ann)Meyers, Karen 
Leach, Jeff Meyers, Charlene (Terry) Yeiter and Rick (Julie) Meyers; 
grandchildren, Ryon (Rainie)Meyers, Casey Meyers, Jeff (Vicky)Meyers, Tara 
(Dennis) Allen, Bliss (Becky) Yeiter, Dawn (Todd) Goodwine, Brian (Jennifer) 
Leach, Larry (Erin) Meyers, Rich (Casey) Meyers, Brook (Chris) Beckhorn; great-
grandchildren, Dustin (Sarah) Meyers, Ben Meyers, Mason (Lily) Meyers, 
Evan(Kristen)Myers, Darcy Myers,Alex Wiley, Cory (Mitchell)Foreback, Jack 
Meyers.Ethan Eveman, Emily (Jake) Trierweiler, Cynthia Allen, Samanatha Allen, 
Payden (Kaley)Yeiter, Layna Yeiter, Mikayla Meyers, Allie Meyers, Cody Meyers, 
Sam Meyers, Jalynn Beckhorn, Kimberly Leach, Elizabeth Leach,Austin Leach, 
great-great-grandchildren,Allie Meyers, Emma Meyers, Michael Myers, Liam Myers, 
Eliza Myers, Penny Foreback, Anna Foreback, McCoy Yeiter and Stratton Yeiter.

Nola is preceded in death by husband, parents, brothers Tom, Bob, Harry and 
Forest, son-in-law Laverne and daughter-in-law Sharon.

Charlene, Nola's caregiver would like to thank Terry, Tara, Ethan, Karen, 
special friends Phyllis McDonald and Sue Ballard. She couldn't have done it 
without your help.

A funeral will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday March 19, 2024, at Lake Funral Home in 
Saranac with Mr.Alan MacDonald officiating. The visitation will be Monday 5-7 pm 
at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers a memorial in Nola' name to the Saranac Fire Department.
