The Lake Odessa Wave, Thursday, March 17, 1932
George Meyers, an old resident of Sunfield, passed away at his home Sunday 
morning at the advanced age of 86 years.  He was only sick from Tuesday until 
Sunday, pneumonia running its course rapidly.  The funeral was held at the 
United Brethren church in that village Tuesday.

Besides his widow he leaves one son Charles of Northville, a daughter Mrs. 
Frank Peabody of Grand Ledge, and a daughter Mrs. Frank Brimingstoll of 
Mulliken.  He leaves a brother Jesse Meyers of this place, also a brother 
Wesley Meyers of Woodland who is 74 years old, and a sister Mrs. William H. 
McArthur of Idaho who is 79.  This family seems to be of long life.
