Meyers, aged 60 years, expired at his home in Sebewa township Tuesday, following an illness of about ten years. Mr. Meyers was badly injured in a saw mill accident a number of years ago and never completely recovered, having been a helpless invalid for the past ten years. Paralysis was the immediate cause of death. Mr. Meyers was born in Woodland township, Barry county, settling in Sebewa township when a young man. Besides the widow and three children, Mrs. Robert Gierman, of Sebewa, and Archie and Harry Meyers, living at home, deceased is survived by his mother, Mrs. E. H. Meyers, of Lake Odessa, and the following brothers and sisters: Cyrus Meyers, Lowell; Walter Meyers, Nashville; Otis Meyers, Ovid; Mrs. Jennie Sturgis, Saranac; Mrs. Alice Franks, Portland; Mrs. Emma Cotton, Vermontville; Mrs. Carrie Neff, Bismarck. Funeral services were held at the late home at 10:00 o’clock today (Thursday), and the remains were interred in the Sebewa township cemetery.
