Aug. 17, 1978 WILLARD MICHAUD Willard E.Michaud, age 59, of 11705 Wabasis Lake Dr., Greenville, formerly of Lake Odessa, died Thursday at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born March 28, 1919 in Detroit, the son of Joseph and June(Willard) Michaud. He married the former Helen Shores in Lowell December 6, 1941 and lived in the Clarksville and Lake Odessa area since 1953, moving to Greenville last fall. Mr. Michaud was a retired serviceman for Consumer's Power Company and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Jackson-Mutschler Post, American Legion, in Clarksville; Clarksville Tri-County Conservation Club, Lakeside Grange and the Chain-O-Lakes Travel Trailer Club in Hastings. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Willard, Jr. of Charlotte, Kenneth of Lake Odessa, Ronald of Woodland and Leroy of Clarksville; one daughter, Marie Michaud of Saranac; one brother, Walter of Rochester, Minnesota; one sister, Mrs. Edward (Barbara) Firzgerald of Grand Rapids; four grandsons and one granddaughter. Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa with Rev. Lee Palmer officiating. Burial at Clarksville Cemetery.
