Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 26 Feb 1957

Beulah Michelsen, 40, 709 West Main Street, died suddenly at the Sheridan
Community hospital Monday morning at 7:25.  Born December 10, 1916 in Ionia she
was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Foote Sr. and attended Ionia public
schools and October 15, 1938, she was married to Francis Michelsen.  Mrs.
Michelsen was a member of the First Christian church and has lived in Ionia all
her life.  Until she became ill, she was employed at the Ionia Mfg. Co.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Zadie Foote of Ionia; her father, Stanley Foote
of Grand Rapids, her husband, Francis and four children, Marvin, Marlene, Helen
and Ellen; a brother, Stanley Foote of Ionia and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Cummings of
Long lake.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Phelps funeral chapel Thursday
afternoon at 2 o’clock and interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.  The
Rev. Floyd Emshwiller, pastor of the First Christian church, will officiate.
